About us

The Clinkard Beagles were formed as a private pack in 1989, the hounds being formerly the Aldershot Beagles bred by  Roy Clinkard since 1958. The Meon Valley Beagles were formed in 1948 by Mrs A Vivian, Mrs C James & Miss Arnold as a private pack but shortly became a subscription pack.  In 2003 the Meon Valley merged with the Clinkard to form ‘The Clinkard Meon Valley Beagles’ and to continue as a private pack under the ownership of Mr & Mrs  Roy Clinkard. They pride themselves as being one of friendliest packs in the country.
